Job Description

The Pennant Group, Inc. is a reputable holding company that operates a network of independent subsidiaries offering a wide array of healthcare services. These services include home health care, hospice agencies, and senior living communities throughout the United States. Each subsidiary operates autonomously with its own management, workforce, and assets, ensuring tailored, community-based care and dedicated service. The Pennant Group embodies a commitment to quality and compassionate care, integrating a deep understanding of healthcare needs with a focus on the well-being of those they serve.

Currently, one of The Pennant Group's senior living communities is seeking a Housekeeper to join a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of residents, their families, and the broader community. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment which contributes significantly to the quality of life and health of the community's residents.

The housekeeper position is a critical role that ensures the community meets high standards of cleanliness and infection control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, offices, wellness areas, and other designated spaces. Through their efforts, they directly support residents’ comfort, safety, and satisfaction, helping to foster an atmosphere that respects dignity and independence.

This role requires a strong customer service orientation, with a friendly and approachable demeanor that supports a positive experience for residents, their families, staff, and guests. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial attributes, as the housekeeper must respond to changing resident needs and preferences. The position also demands a high level of personal initiative, ensuring tasks are completed effectively without constant supervision, alongside consistent reliability and attendance.

Working in this community means embracing core values encapsulated by the CAPLICO framework: Celebration, Accountability, Passion for Learning, Love One Another, Intelligent Risk Taking, Customer Second (Employee First), and Ownership. These guiding principles create a supportive work culture that values integrity, respect, growth, and teamwork. If these values resonate with your own moral compass, and you possess the qualifications and commitment described, this opportunity offers a meaningful and rewarding career path.

The employment type for this role is full-time or part-time, with a competitive pay range of $17 to $18 per hour depending on experience. The employer is committed to equal opportunity hiring practices and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds without discrimination. Joining this team not only offers a chance to contribute to a vital community service but also to be part of a supportive and values-driven organization that prioritizes both employee and resident well-being.
