Among its many brands, Courtyard by Marriott stands out as a hotel designed specifically for business travelers, combining comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere to meet the needs of modern guests. Located at 1155 E Diehl Rd, Naperville, Illinois, the Courtyard hotel operates as part of Marriott International's extensive network, delivering quality accommodations and services that foster memorable stays. The company prides itself on promoting a culture of inclusivity and diversity, ensuring equal employment opportunities for all individuals, regardless of their background or protected status. Marriott invests in its team members by offering comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities, making it a desirable workplace for those passionate about hospitality.

The role of the Room Attendant is a full-time position with shifts primarily during the day, requiring availability on weekends as well. Employees in this role work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm, and Saturday to Sunday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, ensuring that the hotel’s guest rooms and public spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and order. The pay range for this position is competitive, from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour, reflecting the responsibilities and skills required. This non-management position is critical to the hotel’s daily operations, directly impacting guest satisfaction and overall experience.

Room Attendants at Courtyard by Marriott are not only responsible for cleaning rooms and making beds but also for creating a guest environment that is welcoming and inviting. The job involves a variety of housekeeping tasks, including stocking carts, fulfilling guest requests, and maintaining public spaces. Employees are empowered to take initiative and manage their assigned areas independently to ensure that all hotel spaces contribute to a positive guest experience. To succeed, Room Attendants must follow company policies diligently, maintain confidentiality, and uphold quality and appearance standards, including personal presentation and uniform requirements. Physical stamina is essential due to the demands of standing, walking, and moving throughout the workday, as well as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Overall, the position provides a hands-on, dynamic work environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and a guest-focused mindset are paramount.

Joining Marriott International means becoming part of a global team dedicated to excellence in hospitality. Courtyard by Marriott invests in its associates’ growth and encourages ongoing learning and improvement. The company fosters an inclusive workplace where every team member’s unique culture and experience are valued, creating a vibrant and supportive community. Benefits include access to health and dental insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement. Working at Marriott offers the chance to belong to a world-renowned brand, contribute meaningfully to guest experiences, and develop professionally while enjoying a positive team atmosphere.
