Responsibilities include cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and disinfecting resident apartments. The role also involves washing windows, emptying trash, and responsibly transporting waste to designated disposal areas. Additionally, the housekeeping staff may assist care personnel by cleaning lobbies, restrooms, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other common spaces to uphold the community's commitment to health and cleanliness. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Cleans resident apartment homes including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, disinfecting, washing windows
  • Empties trash, waste and other disposable materials and transports to disposal area
  • Assists care staff with cleaning lobby, restrooms, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and common spaces
  • Reports needed repairs to Executive Director and maintenance specialist
  • Maintains a courteous and helpful demeanor when interacting with residents and staff
  • Uses hand and power tools for cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Communicates effectively with residents and team members
