The Housekeeping position at ProPetro is an essential role responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the company’s facilities, including offices, breakrooms, conference rooms, reception areas, restrooms, gym, and other common spaces. This role ensures that all areas are kept in a hygienic and orderly condition to promote a healthy and professional work environment. The Housekeeping staff perform daily general cleaning duties such as dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and restocking supplies to ensure that all facility areas meet company standards for cleanliness and safety.

In addition to general housekeeping, the Housekeeping role includes performing floor and carpet cleaning services, maintaining inventory supplies, and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and attending mandatory training sessions. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures and different shifts such as days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role demands reliability, teamwork, and a personable attitude, as it involves interacting professionally with personnel at all levels of the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience in facility maintenance preferred
  • Basic knowledge of facility maintenance, housekeeping, cleaning, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • Personable, reliable, teamwork oriented, able to professionally interact with personnel at all levels of the organization
  • Must be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and occasionally climb ladders throughout the work shift
  • Must be physically able to safely perform duties during a 12+ hour work shift including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Must be physically able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme hot and cold temperatures

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize the organization’s facility offices, break rooms, conference rooms, reception areas, restrooms, gym, and other common areas daily
  • Perform daily general housekeeping duties including stocking bathrooms, removing trash, dusting surfaces, polishing woodwork, clearing walkways, cleaning windows, scrubbing and disinfecting bathrooms, and cleaning breakrooms
  • Perform regular floor and carpet cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, vacuuming carpeted areas, and cleaning spills
  • Restock supplies in bathrooms and breakroom areas, such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
  • Ensure the availability of job performance tools and necessary supplies by communicating with supervisor when inventory counts run low
  • Clean as per scheduled or assigned by the supervisor or lead
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as assigned
