The Housekeeper role at InTown Suites is vital to maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas throughout the hotel. Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness that meets the company's expectations, including but not limited to cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, floors, removing trash, polishing furnishings, and ensuring outdoor spaces remain tidy. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction through superior customer service skills. Housekeepers operate cleaning equipment, restock supplies, report any safety, security, or guest concerns to supervisors promptly, and assist in ensuring rooms are ready for guest use. The role also involves physical demands such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- Education equivalent to high school diploma
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Specific visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and adjustable focus
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to work under exposure to extreme weather conditions including cold and heat
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma
- Any other combination of education, training or experience that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas
- Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
