The Housekeeping Personnel role at Lucchese Bootmaker is an integral part of the maintenance department, focusing on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the company’s production and distribution facilities. This position requires a hardworking, detail-oriented individual who takes initiative and can operate independently without constant supervision. The housekeeping team member is responsible for ensuring all office spaces, common areas, restrooms, and breakrooms are kept clean and presentable to both employees and visitors, promoting operational excellence in every aspect of facility upkeep.

Key responsibilities include cleaning floors, carpets, dusting furniture, disposing of waste, disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as door handles and office equipment, and restocking essential supplies in restrooms and break areas. The role demands flexibility, as candidates must be willing to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina is necessary since the job involves lifting boxes up to 30 pounds and performing repetitive cleaning tasks. Candidates will benefit from possessing strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, along with excellent time management and the ability to multitask efficiently.   • must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • additional training in housekeeping is a plus
  • strong knowledge of cleaning best practices, chemicals, equipment, and procedures
  • excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • ensure all offices and common areas are cleaned and maintained to high standards
  • disinfect commonly used items like door handles, office tools/equipment, and faucet handles
  • empty all trash cans and replace liners
  • clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms
  • clean breakrooms
  • vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors and carpet areas
  • remove debris from outside break areas
  • restock supplies in bathrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas
  • perform other related duties as assigned
  • notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
  • dust furniture and fixtures in conference rooms and office areas
