Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
  • Ability to perform physical movements including sitting climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching or crawling
  • Good vision including close distance color peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Availability to work flexible schedules
  • Strong customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety regulations
  • Good communication skills to notify supervisor of issues
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Physical capability to perform job duties

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including all bath and kitchen areas cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing removing trash from guest rooms dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors A/C grills doors windows and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms public areas and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety security violations or guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
