Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Ability to perform physical movements including sitting climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching or crawling
- Good vision including close distance color peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Availability to work flexible schedules
- Strong customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow company policies and safety regulations
- Good communication skills to notify supervisor of issues
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Physical capability to perform job duties
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including all bath and kitchen areas cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing removing trash from guest rooms dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors A/C grills doors windows and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms public areas and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety security violations or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
