The position available is a key role within this community, responsible for maintaining clean and safe living spaces. The role primarily involves cleaning resident apartment homes to ensure all areas are spotless and sanitized. Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, disinfecting, and window washing. Beyond individual apartments, the role may extend to assisting care staff with cleaning communal areas such as the lobby, restrooms, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other shared spaces. Proper waste disposal is also integral, requiring the emptying and transporting of trash and other disposables to designated areas. While the role involves routine cleaning, it requires attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the community.

The incumbent will report any necessary repairs to senior staff, including the Executive Director and maintenance specialists, to address facility issues timely. Job Duties

  • Cleans resident apartment homes including dusting vacuuming sweeping scrubbing mopping waxing disinfecting washing windows
  • Empties trash waste and other disposable materials and transports to disposal area
  • Assists care staff with cleaning lobby restrooms hallways elevators stairwells and common spaces
  • Reports needed repairs to Executive Director and maintenance specialist
