Job Requirements

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
Ability to perform visual inspections involving close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Willingness to follow safety and security policies
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time schedules

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, and balancing
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment usage

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding exterior areas
Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if area is not specifically assigned
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
Provide superior customer service when interacting with guests
