Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Education equivalent to high school diploma
- Ability to lift and/or move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and adjust focus
- Ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
- Ability to work indoors with hard and carpeted floors
- Willingness to work in varied weather conditions including cold and heat
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience including good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- Education equivalent to high school diploma
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, clean all floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grill, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
