Job Requirements

Minimum one year housekeeping experience
Education equivalent to high school diploma
Ability to lift and/or move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and adjust focus
Ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
Ability to work indoors with hard and carpeted floors
Willingness to work in varied weather conditions including cold and heat

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year housekeeping experience including good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
Education equivalent to high school diploma
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, clean all floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grill, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
