Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1-2 years housekeeping experience
ability to walk and stand for extended periods
ability to lift up to 40 lbs
ability to communicate with team members
ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays
ability to use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls
ability to work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions

ability to work in small spaces and at heights
knowledge of chemical and equipment safety practices

Job Duties

Service, clean and restock restroom supplies
gather and empty trash
clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment use
mix cleaning solutions according to specifications
strip, seal, finish and polish floors as needed
notify maintenance manager about repair needs
requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance
clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
steam-clean or shampoo carpets and remove stains
clean and polish furniture and fixtures
dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment
perform additional assigned duties
