This job opportunity is for an environmental service team member position within SDMC-Sutter Delta Medical Center. The primary objective of this role is to ensure a clean, attractive, and safe environment within assigned areas of the hospital. This is achieved by conducting a wide array of duties that include thorough cleaning, transporting supplies and equipment, handling room setups, managing trash removal, and linens. The position supports the overall healthcare mission by maintaining patient rooms, hallways, offices, and other strategic locations in a sanitized condition that complies with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.

The role necessitates operating essential environmental service equipment such as floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, washers, and dryers. Effective communication and collaboration skills are vital for fostering teamwork and ensuring seamless coordination with other hospital personnel, supervisors, patients, and peers.
