Job Description

Provincial Senior Living proudly manages lifestyle-driven Independent Living communities across the United States. The company is devoted to enriching the lives of seniors and their team members through a deep commitment to personalized care, hospitality, and meaningful connections. Operating more than 13,000 units nationwide, Provincial Senior Living stands as one of the largest senior living families in the country, recognized by Great Place to Work certifications from 2022-2026. This title reflects their steadfast dedication to fostering a great workplace culture where all team members can thrive professionally and personally.

At Provincial Senior Living, team members find purposeful work and extraordinary career pathways supported by continuous learning and development opportunities. The company promotes an environment where its employees' growth is deeply valued and supported, with numerous chances for advancement and a broad range of comprehensive benefits. Being part of this community means contributing to a collaborative culture that genuinely cares about the well-being of residents and colleagues while engaging in rewarding work that makes a difference in the lives of seniors.

The role of Housekeeper/Server is a crucial position within the Provincial Senior Living community that combines responsibilities from housekeeping and dining services to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members. This dual-role position provides variety and interaction as you manage cleaning tasks for apartments, common areas, and offices while also delivering dining services that promote guest satisfaction through proper food handling and attentive customer service.

As a Housekeeper/Server, your day-to-day work will involve executing diverse cleaning duties such as sanitizing restrooms, maintaining floors and furniture, and managing the community laundry, ensuring all standards of cleanliness and chemical safety are met. Concurrently, you will support dining operations by serving meals, taking orders, assisting with dining room setup, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining atmosphere. This blend of duties supports the community’s mission to create an exceptional living experience focused on comfort, safety, and connection.

This role emphasizes teamwork, excellent communication, and organizational skills coupled with the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks. Experience in housekeeping and/or fine dining is preferred but not mandatory, and a high school diploma or equivalent is desirable. The position requires physical capability to lift weights up to 25 pounds frequently and sometimes up to 50 pounds, as well as the stamina for frequent standing, walking, and reaching. Working indoors in a climate-controlled setting with possible exposure to cleaning chemicals necessitates adherence to safety protocols.

In return for your contributions, Provincial Senior Living offers competitive wages, flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time options, paid training, access to wages before payday, and a comprehensive benefits package. Full-time employees also enjoy paid time off and holidays, health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) with employer matching, meals and uniforms, and access to an Employee Assistance Program. Because the company cultivates a culture of care and respect, working here means joining a team where your work impacts the lives of seniors positively and where you can build a fulfilling career in a supportive environment. If you have a passion for making a difference and enjoy working with seniors, this opportunity is an ideal fit to grow your career while contributing to a meaningful mission.
