Job Description
Our client is a well-established hospitality company operating in the hotel industry, known for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort. The hotel is committed to providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for all guests through dedicated teamwork and adherence to rigorous housekeeping protocols. We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our dedicated Housekeeping Department. This role offers an annual salary in the range of $15-16 (USD) and includes a comprehensive benefits package, commencing 30 days after the start date. The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s cleanliness standards. This position requires an individual who is meticulous, reliable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, replenishing supplies, inspecting rooms for readiness, and reporting any maintenance issues to supervisors. The role involves handling guest requests promptly and effectively, as well as maintaining a professional appearance by adhering to uniform and name tag policies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hotel operating procedures, knowledge of room types, and standards for cleaning supplies. You will need to demonstrate excellent organizational skills to prepare rooms efficiently without compromising quality. In addition to regular cleaning duties, this role may require deep cleaning assignments and maintaining laundry areas, as well as cleaning public spaces throughout the property. Handling guest complaints with diplomacy and promoting a courteous, friendly environment is essential. Teamwork and adherence to hotel policies, including emergency procedures, will be critical to success in this role. You must be willing to work flexible hours and embrace the company’s mission, values, and vision.

Physical demands of the role include the ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach upwards, lift up to 40 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods. A safe work environment is maintained where employees work with cleaning chemicals, vacuum cleaners, and other housekeeping equipment. Prior experience with laundry room dryers and washers is desirable but not mandatory. Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Have a good understanding of all of hotels operating procedures
- Be knowledgeable of rooms types and standards for supplies
- Check the general condition of the room and notify the Housekeeping Supervisor of any malfunction or damage
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, replenish supplies and amenities, inspect and report rooms ready for sale to the front desk all in accordance with hotel’s training and standards
- Dust and clean all furnishings in guest room including the television, desk, desk chair, desk lamp/shade, air conditioner unit, head boards, night stand, wall picture, wall lamp/shade and window ledge
- Maintain cleaning supplies and the cleaning cart in safe, organized and presentable fashion
- Ensure prompt and systematic servicing of all guest requests
- Handle guest complaints effectively
- Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly and helpful to guests, managers and all other associates
- Team work
- Organization and thoroughness: preparing bedrooms in the specified length of time whilst respecting internal hotel procedures
- No service rooms must be approved by inspector or front desk
- Must wear uniform and nametag
- Must follow all policies and emergency procedures of the hotel
- Discretion: not disturbing guests
- Laundry and public area cleaning
