Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • prior experience operating commercial washers and dryers is helpful but not required
  • ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead
  • ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to work in varying temperatures
  • comfortable working with cleaning chemicals, vacuums, and other housekeeping equipment

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to hotel standards
  • replenish guest supplies and amenities
  • inspect rooms and report rooms ready for sale to the Front Desk
  • dust and clean all guest room furnishings and fixtures
  • check room conditions and report maintenance concerns or damages
  • maintain housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies in a safe and organized manner
  • respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
  • handle guest concerns courteously and effectively
  • promote a positive guest experience through friendly and helpful service
  • assist with laundry operations and public area cleaning
  • complete deep-cleaning assignments as directed
  • follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols
  • wear required uniform and name tag
  • maintain personal cleanliness and professional appearance
  • work cooperatively with team members and other departments
  • be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays
  • support the Mission, Vision, and Values of the company
  • perform additional duties as assigned
