Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks such as lifting bending and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Effective communication skills for customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work full-time or part-time shifts
- Willingness to undergo paid training and follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus
- Experience in hotel settings or commercial cleaning environments advantageous
- Knowledge of proper sanitization techniques and cleaning protocols essential
- Skills in cooking may be beneficial for specific roles requiring meal preparation alongside cleaning duties
Job Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including dusting vacuuming sweeping and mopping floors
- Sanitize bathrooms kitchens and other common areas to maintain a hygienic environment
- Launder linens and towels as needed ensuring they are fresh and clean for guests or residents
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly
- Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care tasks to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests or concerns in a timely manner
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks as required including training new staff members
