The hotel is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper (Room Attendant) to join its Rooms Department. Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, this full-time, non-exempt position plays a crucial role in maintaining the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and order. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for all guests. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the housekeeping team to meet daily cleaning schedules and address any guest requests efficiently.
The Housekeeper will perform a variety of tasks including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing linens and toiletries, and cleaning bathrooms thoroughly. Additionally, the role involves restocking supplies in guest rooms and public restrooms, following hotel security protocols, reporting maintenance issues, and adhering to the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The position provides an opportunity to contribute directly to the overall guest experience by creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand walk and move throughout the hotel property for the majority of the work shift
- must be able to lift carry push or pull up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- must be able to reach bend stoop and kneel frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred but not required
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- basic understanding of cleaning supplies and equipment
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms including making beds dusting vacuuming and replenishing linens and toiletries
- clean and maintain bathrooms including toilets showers mirrors and floors
- restock supplies such as towels soaps and tissues in guest rooms and public restrooms
- report any maintenance issues safety hazards or lost-and-found items to the Housekeeping Manager
- follow hotel security protocols and ensure the safety and privacy of guests
- perform general cleaning tasks in public areas such as lobbies corridors and stairwells
- respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
- adhere to the hotels standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction
