Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to follow instructions
  • strong attention to detail
  • positive attitude and teamwork skills
  • availability for seasonal and on-call work

Job Qualifications

  • prior housekeeping experience is preferred for this position
  • must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • must be able to read understand interpret and carry out directions and instructions
  • must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • work independently and make sound responsible decisions
  • may be working alone or as a team as needed
  • must be able to walk and stand at least 95% of the shift
  • must be able to reach push pull bend stoop twist and carry
  • must be able to use hands to grasp hold and use for manual activities
  • maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
  • must have good organization skills
  • must be able to work independently with minimum or no supervision
  • must be an excellent team player with a positive and helpful attitude

Job Duties

  • clean guest rooms daily ensuring all areas are completed in the designated timeframe
  • ensure that all guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • provide thoughtful touches to enhance the guest experience such as arranging personal items closing curtains and placing bedside mats
  • work closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to ensure guest preferences and special requests are met
