We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us as Room Attendants at one of our prime locations with an unobstructed view of the ocean. This on-call/seasonal role provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Room Attendant position is integral to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests by ensuring their rooms are immaculately maintained and thoughtfully prepared to enhance their stay.
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms daily, ensuring all areas are completed within the designated timeframe, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation standards expected at Hyatt. Your role will involve providing thoughtful touches that personalize the guest experience, such as arranging personal items, closing curtains, and placing bedside mats. You will work closely with both the housekeeping and front office teams to accommodate special requests and guest preferences, ensuring a seamless and pleasant stay.
This position demands physical endurance and attention to detail. The work environment is fast-paced, and the job requires a considerable amount of walking and physical activity, including lifting, pushing, and carrying moderate weights. The ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members is highly valued, helping to foster a collaborative and friendly atmosphere.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.50, and the role is expected to last until around Labor Day 2026, making it ideal for individuals seeking seasonal employment or supplemental income in a dynamic, customer-focused setting. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively
- physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to follow instructions
- strong attention to detail
- positive attitude and teamwork skills
- availability for seasonal and on-call work
Job Qualifications
- prior housekeeping experience is preferred for this position
- must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- must be able to read understand interpret and carry out directions and instructions
- must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- work independently and make sound responsible decisions
- may be working alone or as a team as needed
- must be able to walk and stand at least 95% of the shift
- must be able to reach push pull bend stoop twist and carry
- must be able to use hands to grasp hold and use for manual activities
- maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
- must have good organization skills
- must be able to work independently with minimum or no supervision
- must be an excellent team player with a positive and helpful attitude
Job Duties
- clean guest rooms daily ensuring all areas are completed in the designated timeframe
- ensure that all guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
- provide thoughtful touches to enhance the guest experience such as arranging personal items closing curtains and placing bedside mats
- work closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to ensure guest preferences and special requests are met
