The Grand Hyatt Indian Wells is currently looking for a dedicated Room Attendant Lead to join their Housekeeping team. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that the hotel is known for. The Room Attendant Lead will play a pivotal role in guiding and developing new Room Attendants by setting an example and ensuring that every guest room meets stringent hotel cleanliness standards. They will be actively involved in training, mentoring, and coaching team members to uphold brand standards and safety protocols.
In this leadership role, the Room Attendant Lead also manages back-of-house housekeeping areas, ensuring these spaces remain organized and clean, which supports smooth daily operations. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $24.80, with individual salary considerations based on experience and education. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience
- Ability to lead and train a team
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Strong organizational skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to quality and guest satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping or hospitality industry

Job Duties
- Train and mentor new Room Attendants on cleaning procedures, safety, and brand standards
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure they meet quality standards before being released
- Coach team members on cleaning quality, productivity, and proper procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas
- Monitor supply levels and report maintenance or operational concerns
- Assist with room cleaning and daily housekeeping operations as needed
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and excellent guest service
