Job Description
Geronimo Hospitality Group is not your typical workplace. As a renowned collection of award-winning boutique hotels, restaurants, and clubs, the company prides itself on challenging the status quo and setting new standards in hospitality. With a culture that embraces creativity, hard work, and a competitive spirit, Geronimo Hospitality Group aims to create memorable destinations rather than mere pit stops. The team is composed of passionate, driven individuals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and pushing boundaries in every aspect of their work.
The Ironworks Hotel, part of the Geronimo Hospitality Group, is a boutique hotel located near the Keystone Fashion Mall in north Indianapolis. Inspired by America's rich industrial heritage, the hotel sits within the dynamic Ironworks Keystone campus, which hosts some of the area’s top restaurants including Provision, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Rize, Sangiovese Ristorante, and Blue Sushi Saki & Grill. The hotel offers a unique environment where employees can work hard, enjoy their time, and collaborate with colleagues in a vibrant setting.
The Housekeeper/Room Attendant at Ironworks Hotel plays a crucial role in creating the exceptional experiences that define Geronimo Hospitality Group. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring every guest enjoys a comfortable and welcoming environment. The role requires positive guest interactions, as attendants may be the first or last staff members guests see during their stay. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and pride in one’s work are essential in this role.
This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth through ongoing training and development. Employees enjoy perks like employee discounts, paid time off, 401K plans, medical benefits, 24/7 online care, and even pet insurance. Geronimo Hospitality Group supports a competitive spirit and provides an environment where team members can build their own futures, contribute ideas, and make meaningful impacts in their daily work.
As a Housekeeper/Room Attendant, your daily duties will include greeting guests warmly, reviewing the day’s room inventory including arrivals and departures, and ensuring that all cleaning supplies are stocked and ready. The cleaning process covers dusting, vacuuming, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas, and maintaining the lobby and common areas. Quality cleaning must be performed efficiently to meet high standards and adhere to all safety guidelines. Additionally, you may be called upon to pick up litter around the hotel grounds or assist with other tasks as assigned by your team leader.
Joining Geronimo Hospitality Group means becoming part of a team that values your contribution and skills, where your voice matters, and where your efforts help shape a compelling hospitality experience. The company embraces diversity and is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace for all employees.
