Job Requirements
- Availability on weekends and holidays
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, vendors and guests
- Must have the ability to bend, stoop, lift and walk for extended periods
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with cleaning products and procedures
Job Duties
- Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways and public areas in the hotel
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating appropriately with guests, vendors, co-workers and management
- Ensure guest satisfaction through properly maintained property and prompt response to guest complaints and needs
- Service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures
- Stock cart with room supplies, replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies
- Obtain list of vacant rooms and prospective checkouts to prepare work assignments
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
