Job Requirements

  • Availability on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, vendors and guests
  • Must have the ability to bend, stoop, lift and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and procedures

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways and public areas in the hotel
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating appropriately with guests, vendors, co-workers and management
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through properly maintained property and prompt response to guest complaints and needs
  • Service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures
  • Stock cart with room supplies, replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies
  • Obtain list of vacant rooms and prospective checkouts to prepare work assignments
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
