Job Description
Cascade Living is a company deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life for both its residents and employees. With a focus on creating a culture centered around wellness and purposeful living, Cascade Living distinguishes itself in the senior living industry. The company operates numerous communities, including Waterford Grand, which provides assisted living and memory care services. Waterford Grand caters to residents and families in regions such as Springfield, Coburg, Goshen, and Irving, ensuring that they receive compassionate, personalized care in a respectful environment. Known for their motto, "The Difference Between Living and Living Well," Cascade Living promotes an environment where dignity, respect, and wellness are prioritized for all.
At Waterford Grand, the Housekeeper/Laundry Aide plays an essential role in maintaining the community’s welcoming and safe atmosphere. This position involves direct interaction and engagement with residents, both in their apartments and throughout the shared spaces. The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide is responsible for ensuring that apartments and common areas are meticulously clean, inviting, and safe, thereby directly contributing to the quality of life for the residents. This role requires individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and motivated to positively represent the community. The position begins as a temporary full-time role providing coverage in laundry services but leads to a permanent part-time position within the Environmental Services team, specifically in housekeeping.
Ideal candidates for the Housekeeper/Laundry Aide role have experience working in high-end hospitality settings like hotels or country clubs, or similar senior living communities. A strong desire to work with seniors and provide compassionate care is key. Having reliable transportation, sufficient mobility, and the physical strength to move freely throughout the facility and assist in the care of residents is necessary. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and demonstrate an ownership attitude to stay focused amid interruptions. Good judgment, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills are also critical.
The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.05 to $17.05, depending on experience. The current schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with weekend availability required. Cascade Living supports career growth and offers numerous benefits such as health insurance for eligible employees, voluntary benefits like disability and life insurance, 401(k) with company match, education assistance, and generous paid time off. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. It ensures fair hiring practices without discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability, or other protected characteristics. All employment offers are contingent upon passing a background check, and accommodations are available for applicants requiring assistance during the hiring process.
