Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one settings to employees of the organization
- physically able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
- able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception

Job Duties
- Remove trash from outside grounds
- empty waste containers from outside areas
- clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
- disinfect equipment and supplies
- clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met
- empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
- keep drains free of debris
- demonstrate Harmac’s core values of honesty, integrity, and respect
- perform other duties as assigned
