This particular role is focused on maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards essential for a safe and welcoming healthcare environment. The position operates on an afternoon shift schedule from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 80 hours over two weeks, with every other weekend and holiday off to ensure work-life balance. The role entails custodial responsibilities encompassing various hospital areas including patient rooms, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby spaces. This is a vital position that supports infection control and patient satisfaction by ensuring that all assigned areas are clean, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
Beyond the routine cleaning duties, this job offers diverse responsibilities such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash. Additionally, maintaining supply levels on individual cleaning carts and managing linens by sorting, washing, and delivering them accurately are part of the job duties which require attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude. Job Requirements
- Able to work the specified afternoon shift

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three months of related experience

Job Duties
- Maintains a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
- Participates in all cleaning activities including dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
- Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels and toilet paper
- Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
- Maintains good customer relations at all times
- Sorts, washes, and accurately delivers linens
- Works collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and a safe environment
