Job Requirements
- Fingerprinting clearance card or eligibility to obtain one
- Background screening, licensure verification if applicable, reference check, drug testing
- Tuberculosis testing
- Employee health screening conducted after hire
- Ability to move, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Physical capability to move, lift, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Background check clearance and fingerprinting required
Job Duties
- Maintain the facility, resident rooms, and common areas in a clean, welcoming, and homelike environment
- Follow cleaning services policies and procedures to protect and maintain facility areas
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist in the proper handling and disposal of waste materials
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards related to cleanliness
- Collaborate with Environmental Services Manager and staff to address specific cleaning needs
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning activities
