The Housekeeping position at Woodhollow Glen is an essential role focused on maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the property. This includes key areas such as entry ways, hallways, common areas, restrooms, and utility rooms. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to keeping the environment hygienic and aesthetically pleasing for all residents and visitors. Housekeepers play a crucial part in preserving the welcoming atmosphere of the community by performing janitorial duties regularly. These duties include vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, cleaning glass surfaces, dusting furniture and light fixtures, and restocking restroom supplies.
In addition to routine cleaning, the position involves inspecting various areas such as the lobby, hallways, laundry rooms, social rooms, and office spaces to ensure everything meets the community’s standards. The housekeeper will also handle specialized tasks like stripping and waxing floors under a manager’s guidance and managing emergency maintenance procedures to uphold safety at all times. Job Duties
- completes janitorial duties to maintain property appearance
- inspects and cleans entrance vestibule daily
- cleans lobby including walls, floors, and furniture
- vacuums and dusts hallways and removes stains
- maintains laundry rooms by cleaning lint screens, trash removal, and floor care
- strips and waxes floors under manager direction
- cleans and inspects public restrooms including disinfecting
- vacuums and dusts social rooms
- maintains cleanliness in community and crafts rooms including kitchen
- cleans office and reception areas daily
- gains approval for major disruptive cleaning tasks
- responds promptly to emergency maintenance issues
- performs other duties as assigned
