Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged preferred
- no prior experience necessary
- must have high attention to detail and ability to perceive cleaning needs
- must be able to effectively use janitorial and cleaning supplies
- must communicate effectively in english
- must interpret various forms of instructions
- must adhere to employee handbook terms and conditions
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or general education degree (ged) preferred
- no prior housekeeping experience necessary
- attention to detail
- ability to perceive cleaning and janitorial needs
- able to effectively use janitorial and cleaning supplies
- effective communication skills in english
- able to interpret instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
- adherence to employee handbook policies
Job Duties
- completes janitorial duties to maintain property appearance
- inspects and cleans entrance vestibule daily
- cleans lobby including walls, floors, and furniture
- vacuums and dusts hallways and removes stains
- maintains laundry rooms by cleaning lint screens, trash removal, and floor care
- strips and waxes floors under manager direction
- cleans and inspects public restrooms including disinfecting
- vacuums and dusts social rooms
- maintains cleanliness in community and crafts rooms including kitchen
- cleans office and reception areas daily
- gains approval for major disruptive cleaning tasks
- responds promptly to emergency maintenance issues
- performs other duties as assigned
