Currently, Crothall Healthcare is hiring immediately for part-time Housekeeper Utility positions at the Florida Coast Medical Center located at 310 Southeast Veranda Falls Way, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34984. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the healthcare facility, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour and requires prior utility experience of at least one year.

The Housekeeper Utility is responsible for maintaining facility areas, keeping equipment clean and orderly, servicing and fixing cleaning equipment, stocking cleaning carts with supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in storerooms and closets. They also handle the collection, transport, and disposal of trash and bio-hazardous materials according to established safety protocols. Identifying potential safety hazards and acting accordingly is also an essential part of the job. The role demands the ability to walk or stand for extended periods, push containers weighing between 50 to 100 pounds, follow written and oral instructions in English, and possess mechanical abilities related to maintaining cleaning equipment.
