Kenwood Inn and Spa, a proud member of the Four Sisters Inns family, is currently seeking a dedicated team member to support the housekeeping department. This role primarily involves covering call outs and vacations, with variable shift times and days, including required weekend availability. As a temporary position, it offers the opportunity to transition into permanent shifts over time, making it an excellent prospect for those wanting to grow within the hospitality industry. The position includes a diverse array of duties centered around maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, common areas, and the broader property environment. Responsibilities span cleaning rooms, yard areas, parking lots, office spaces, and managing laundry tasks such as washing and folding clothes. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds. The team member will also be involved in replenishing guest supplies, handling waste disposal, and ensuring that all areas meet the high standards expected by Four Sisters Inns.

Job Qualifications
- six months related experience and or training preferred but not required
- ability to read simple two- and three-syllable words
- ability to speak and comprehend simple sentences
- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- knowledge of American money, weight, volume, and distance units
- ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions
- exceptional interpersonal and guest service skills
Job Duties
- greet guests with eye contact and sincere greetings
- clean guest rooms, lobbies, corridors, stairways, patios, and parking areas
- replace guest supplies such as drinking glasses and writing materials
- remove soiled linens and make beds with fresh linens
- sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors as needed
- empty and clean wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas
- report any substandard conditions or safety hazards to management
- lock doors and windows when leaving rooms
- use equipment and materials safely while following established procedures
- conduct all duties quietly and orderly respecting guest comfort
