Job Description

Greystar is a globally recognized, fully integrated real estate platform specializing in rental housing with a strong presence in property management, investment management, development, and construction services. Headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, the company manages an expansive portfolio worth over $300 billion across more than 265 markets worldwide, including North America, Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region. As the largest operator of apartments in the United States, Greystar oversees over one million units and beds globally. Established in 1993 by Bob Faith, Greystar has grown into a trusted leader delivering institutional-quality rental housing solutions with a commitment to world-class service and innovation in the real estate sector.

The role being offered is focused on maintaining the cleanliness and visual appeal of apartment homes, leasing offices, and community amenities, contributing directly to an enhanced resident and guest experience. This position is essential for ensuring vacant apartments and common areas such as leasing offices, clubhouses, and restrooms are meticulously cleaned and presented in a market-ready condition daily. The role also supports the make-ready process by assisting with additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers. Ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and proactively reporting any safety hazards to oversee a safe and inviting environment. This position is hourly paid, with a rate between $17.00 and $19.00 per hour, and may include eligibility for bonus programs based on individual and company performance. The role requires a valid driver's license for operating a golf cart on the property, emphasizing safety and efficient mobility within the community.

Greystar offers robust benefits for full-time employees, including competitive medical, dental, vision, and disability and life insurance options. Employees benefit from generous paid time off comprising vacation, personal, sick days, and paid holidays, along with unique perks such as birthday leave after a year of service and onsite housing discounts at Greystar-managed communities. Long-term employees can look forward to paid sabbaticals and a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. Additional benefits include paid parental leave with fertility benefit reimbursements, employee assistance programs, and various supplemental plans such as critical illness and pet insurance. Greystar values transparency and security during the hiring process, maintaining official communication channels and safeguarding applicant information. This opportunity provides a supportive work environment at a leading real estate company poised for continued growth and excellence in the rental housing industry.
