Currently, Liberty Senior Living is seeking a diligent and experienced Housekeeper to join their team. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the community, including apartments and common areas. This position requires adherence to established cleaning protocols and responsible use of cleaning products, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff. The responsibility includes performing regular weekly cleaning and occasional deep cleaning tasks as assigned. Key duties include emptying trash, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and other assigned common areas such as lobbies, offices, chapels, and conference rooms. The Housekeeper also manages cleaning supplies, restocks soaps and paper products, and maintains housekeeping equipment with proper hygiene practices.

Job Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate
- Must work every other weekend with rest days off during week as applicable
- Must attend all mandatory housekeeping department meetings and community in-services
- Must be able to write and read with clarity sufficient to follow instructions
- Must follow cleaning schedules, policies, and procedures
- Must use PPE and chemicals safely as described in safety data sheets
- Must be kind and respectful to residents, personnel, visitors, and supervisors
- Must demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene
- Must wear appropriate uniform and a nametag
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Ability to read and write with clarity
- Experience in housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and schedules
- Good personal hygiene and neat appearance
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Follow cleaning guidelines and proper product usage
- Clean assigned common spaces daily
- Clean apartments using standard weekly/annual service listing
- Empty trash containers and replace liners
- Dust, mop, and/or vacuum all unit floors including bathrooms
- Clean bathrooms including floors, countertops, commodes, lavatories, showers, and mirrors
- Change bed linen and make beds
- Clean bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens as assigned
- Clean blinds, windows, baseboards, and ceiling fans per schedule
- Wear gloves and practice hand hygiene
- Use clean microfiber mop heads and towels for each unit
- Dust, mop and vacuum lobby and other common areas
- Follow trash removal guidelines
- Stock soap and paper products in common areas
- Maintain housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment
- Perform other assigned duties
