The role of Housekeeper at The Gathering Spot Atlanta is integral to sustaining the quality and excellence that the club represents. This full-time position demands a detail-oriented and service-driven professional who will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the premises. In this role, you will be tasked with cleaning and maintaining all common areas including lounges, dining rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and event spaces. You will be responsible for routine cleaning activities such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and sanitizing surfaces according to the club’s standards. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will ensure restrooms and member areas are continuously stocked and impeccably maintained. Trash and recycling removal must be conducted promptly and discreetly to uphold the club’s refined atmosphere.
Beyond basic cleaning duties, you will assist with event setup and breakdown when needed, emphasizing teamwork and adaptability. Maintenance and cosmetic care of the club’s high-end finishes, furnishings, and fixtures are vital to preserving the luxurious environment. Timely reporting of any maintenance issues, damaged areas, or safety concerns ensures a safe and efficient club operation.
The Housekeeper position also involves upholding the member experience by maintaining a professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor around members and their guests, whilst protecting member privacy and confidentiality. You will respond promptly to housekeeping requests from management or members, ensuring seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Health and safety compliance is a key component of this role. The successful candidate will follow all health and safety guidelines, handle cleaning chemicals and equipment properly, and comply with The Gathering Spot’s policies and procedures. This role requires flexibility, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical stamina is essential, with the ability to lift between 25 to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
