Job Description

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is a renowned hospitality company with an extensive presence in iconic locations worldwide. With a rich history spanning over 100 years, Delaware North is a family-owned business that prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a culture of growth and development for its team members. Among its many operations, Delaware North manages Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, a prestigious 4-diamond resort nestled just outside the south entrance of Yosemite National Park in Fish Camp, California. This mountain resort is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, including towering granite peaks and lush forests, offering guests a unique blend of luxury accommodations and access to an abundance of outdoor recreational activities. Tenaya Lodge also encompasses Waybound, a collection of modern cabins and cottages that provide guests with a private retreat-style stay, complete with all the amenities of the main resort.

Delaware North is currently seeking seasonal and full-time Housekeepers to join the team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite. This role plays a key part in upholding the resort's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, public areas, and restrooms, ensuring that every guest enjoys a welcoming and hygienic environment during their stay. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $18.74 to $19.00 and includes opportunities for seasonal completion bonuses and commuter bonuses for eligible employees.

Working as a Housekeeper at Tenaya Lodge is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality experience set against one of California's most iconic natural landmarks. Employees have access to low-cost, recently updated dormitory housing, numerous outdoor adventure activities such as hiking, fishing, biking, rock climbing, camping, and horseback riding, and are supported by a comprehensive benefits package for full-time, year-round team members. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental bonding leave, tuition or professional certification reimbursement, weekly pay, employee discounts on food and retail, and training and development opportunities with potential for internal mobility across Delaware North's numerous locations nationwide.

This role demands physical stamina and a commitment to quality, requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. The Housekeeper will interact occasionally with guests, helping to create a memorable and positive experience at the resort. Delaware North values diversity and inclusion, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and ensuring equal employment opportunities.

Join Delaware North Parks and Resorts at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite and embark on a career surrounded by natural beauty, supported by a global legacy, and enriched by a commitment to personal and professional growth.
