This role is designated as 'essential' during emergency closures, which means the employee may be required to remain on campus overnight during weather-related or other emergencies, ensuring the safety and operational continuity of campus facilities.

The Supervisory Housekeeper position is responsible for overseeing a group of housekeeping workers while actively participating in a variety of housekeeping and maintenance tasks. The role demands both leadership and hands-on involvement. Duties include directing and inspecting the work of housekeeping crews, training new employees, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Supervisory responsibilities also include completing clerical duties such as managing payroll, reviewing time and attendance records, and handling essential human resources tasks like interviewing, training, and implementing positive discipline measures.
