As a Housekeeper at Sunrise Senior Living, you play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of the community. The position involves cleaning resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices, alongside performing general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing assigned areas to the highest standards. Respect and care are paramount in this role, as you will be working in close proximity to residents. Knocking before entering rooms and respecting privacy is a fundamental part of your responsibility.

Additional responsibilities include cleaning and polishing fixtures, furniture, and surfaces to maintain an inviting atmosphere, collecting trash, maintaining clean disposal areas, and managing community laundry tasks such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens. You will also inspect linens for wear and follow replacement procedures to ensure quality standards are upheld. Safety practices feature prominently in the role, requiring careful storage of cleaning chemicals and strict adherence to infection control standards to protect residents’ health. Maintaining clear and compliant hallways, carts, and equipment is also essential to ensure the community remains safe and accessible.

This full-time Housekeeper position offers competitive pay ranging from $15.00 to $18.63 per hour, reflecting the value Sunrise places on its team members.
