The Housekeeper role at Sunrise Senior Living is pivotal in creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, their families, and fellow team members. As a Housekeeper, you will be entrusted with cleaning resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices to uphold high hygiene and comfort standards. Your work will involve sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and polishing fixtures and furniture, always respecting residents’ privacy by knocking before entering their rooms. You will also be responsible for trash collection and maintaining clean disposal areas, as well as managing community laundry tasks such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens. Attention to detail is key, including inspecting linens for wear and following replacement procedures, safely storing cleaning chemicals, and complying with infection control standards. Ensuring that equipment and hallways remain clear and compliant with safety guidelines will also be part of your daily duties.
