The role of Housekeeper at Sunrise Senior Living is vital to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, their families, and team members. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices, ensuring every space is spotless and inviting. Your duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and polishing furniture and fixtures to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness. Respect for residents' privacy is paramount, and you will knock before entering rooms and handle laundry duties such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing community linens. Additionally, you will inspect linens for wear, store chemicals safely, and follow stringent infection control protocols. Keeping carts, equipment, and hallways clear and compliant is another important aspect of the job to ensure a safe environment.

The compensation for this position ranges from $13.50 to $16.88 per hour. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to respect resident privacy and uphold confidentiality
  • physical stamina to perform job duties
  • availability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • ability to follow instructions and safety protocols

  • physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods

Job Duties
