The role of Housekeeper at Travel + Leisure Co. plays a pivotal part in supporting the overall operations of their resorts by ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and the highest quality standards within resort units. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and lobbies, as well as performing tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, making beds, and replenishing supplies like kitchenware and toiletries. Housekeepers also manage linens by sorting, counting, folding, and marking them accordingly, reflecting the company’s dedication to hospitality excellence. Beyond these physical duties, the Housekeeper also engages with guests by responding to inquiries and resolving concerns, striving to enhance the guest experience in line with the company’s customer service values.

Job Duties

  • Clean resort units including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms
  • Maintain and adhere to housekeeping detail standards
  • Clean, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies
  • Make beds and replenish supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries
  • Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens
  • Maintain positive customer and associate relationships
  • Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction
