Job Description
Vacasa, A Casago Company, is a trusted leader in the vacation rental industry known for delivering genuine hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences. As a vacation rental company, Vacasa prides itself on fostering a culture of doing things the right way, building trust among its employees and guests, and supporting each other to serve effectively every day. Vacasa operates in various markets, offering a diverse portfolio of homes, resorts, and rental properties that provide unique and welcoming environments to travelers. The company’s commitment to quality ensures that every guest arrives to a clean, fully stocked, and inviting space ready for their stay.
This season, Vacasa is seeking dedicated individuals to join their housekeeping team in a part-time, seasonal capacity beginning as early as May 20th, 2026. The role is crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring guests have the best possible experience. The seasonal housekeeping position offers flexibility and a dynamic work environment, with the added benefit of a $250 sign-on bonus paid after 30 days of employment. This position appeals to those who enjoy working in hospitality, have a keen eye for detail, and take pride in creating impeccable spaces for guests.
Housekeepers will use prescribed cleaning procedures and products to clean and maintain vacation rental homes, moving portable furniture to clean thoroughly under and behind pieces. The role includes assisting with laundry and linen management as needed, and meeting required housekeeping metrics. The position does not require prior experience, as Vacasa provides on-site training to develop skills and knowledge necessary to excel. A tech-savvy mindset is valued, as housekeepers will utilize various digital systems and mobile apps to manage their workflow and communicate effectively.
The position involves frequent travel between work sites such as private homes, resorts, offices, and laundry facilities, exposing employees to a variety of settings and conditions both indoors and outdoors. Flexibility in scheduling is essential since shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, aligning with guest needs and the seasonal nature of hospitality work.
Vacasa's workplace encourages open communication and interpersonal engagement, as housekeepers should be comfortable interacting with guests and team members both in person and online. The company also supports employees with benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance based on hours worked, a 401K plan with immediate company matching contributions, flexible spending accounts, and employee assistance programs. This role reveals Vacasa’s commitment to employee wellness and professional growth within the hospitality industry.
In summary, the seasonal housekeeping role at Vacasa is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible, part-time work in the vibrant vacation rental sector. The position is designed for those who are detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a trusted brand that values integrity, customer satisfaction, and camaraderie among its team. Whether you are new to housekeeping or have relevant experience, Vacasa welcomes your interest in joining their hospitality-focused team for the summer season and beyond.
