Job Description
Method Co. is a distinguished boutique hospitality company specializing in the development, design, and operation of hotels, restaurants, and apartment-style accommodations throughout the country. The company is renowned for creating culturally relevant and design-driven experiences that combine thoughtful service, elevated design, and a profound sense of place. Method Co. aims to deliver unique and memorable stays by blending the charm of local culture with modern sophistication and impeccable service. Their portfolio includes a diverse range of properties that cater to various travelers seeking comfort, style, and a personalized hospitality experience.
ROOST Cleveland is a signature property within the Method Co. portfolio, bringing a fresh and inviting apartment-hotel experience to downtown Cleveland. Nestled in a beautifully restored historic building, ROOST Cleveland offers a selection of spacious studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments designed to accommodate both short visits and extended stays. Each residence is thoughtfully appointed with full kitchens, in-unit laundry facilities, curated furnishings, and warm, contemporary design touches that make every guest feel right at home. Beyond the private apartments, guests have access to well-designed common areas, a fitness center, and attentive service that expertly balances the feel of a boutique hotel with the comfort and convenience of a residential setting. Positioned just steps away from key cultural institutions, renowned restaurants, and the picturesque lakefront, ROOST Cleveland serves as an ideal home base for guests looking to explore the best the city has to offer.
The Housekeeper role at ROOST Cleveland is a vital part of upholding the company’s commitment to excellence in hospitality. This position entails maintaining a welcoming, comfortable, and impeccably clean environment for guests. The Housekeeper ensures that guest rooms and public spaces consistently meet the high standards set by ROOST Cleveland, focusing on cleanliness, organization, and presentation. Individuals in this role must demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in delivering thoughtful service to enhance the guest experience. The work involves cleaning and refreshing guest apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces, changing linens, restocking amenities, and maintaining common areas. The role also involves reporting maintenance issues, following safety and sanitation protocols, and supporting laundry operations when necessary. A warm and professional guest-focused demeanor is essential, as is the ability to work independently while efficiently managing time and tasks.
This position is suited for those who enjoy hands-on work and take satisfaction in creating a pristine environment that guests appreciate. Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory — what matters most is a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and a positive attitude. Candidates should be physically capable of performing tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Availability on weekends and holidays is also preferred, acknowledging that hospitality is a round-the-clock industry.
Method Co. offers a competitive hourly wage, making the Housekeeper role not only fulfilling but also financially rewarding. Employees benefit from joining a supportive, team-oriented environment and have opportunities for career advancement within the company’s wider hotel and restaurant portfolio. Additional perks include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and various employee benefits designed to support wellbeing and longevity in the hospitality field. Working at ROOST Cleveland presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking boutique hospitality brand devoted to exceptional guest experiences and community connection.
