InnVentures is currently seeking Housekeepers to join the team at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Charleston Airport Convention Center in South Carolina. This role is crucial in ensuring guests feel at home during their stay by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and a welcoming environment. As a Housekeeper, you'll contribute significantly to the overall guest experience by ensuring that each room is spotless, well-stocked, and inviting. The job involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties in accordance with the brand standards, thereby supporting the hotel's goals and creating a productive, pleasant atmosphere. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and attention to detail, helping make every guest's stay memorable and comfortable. Job Requirements

  • Basic verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Physical ability to bend, lift, push, pull, carry and move up to 25 pounds
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus but not required

  • Availability to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Wipe all surfaces, dust and vacuum each guest room adhering to our brand standards
  • Change linens, make beds and restock all guest room supplies
  • Clean bathrooms, remove trash and carry out green practices as trained by the hotel
  • Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile
  • Clean multiple rooms each day
  • Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items
  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
