The Housekeeping team plays a crucial role in achieving this goal by maintaining clean, comfortable, and inviting guest rooms. As a Housekeeper at Residence Inn Seattle South Renton, you will be essential in ensuring that every guest’s stay is comfortable, productive, and memorable.

The Housekeeper role requires attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining brand standards. Responsibilities include wiping all surfaces, dusting, vacuuming guest rooms, changing linens, making beds, and restocking supplies. Housekeepers are also responsible for cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, and applying environmentally friendly green practices as guided by the hotel. A significant part of the role is interacting with guests, offering greetings and assistance with a friendly and professional demeanor. Housekeepers clean multiple rooms each day and aid the maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective, or missing items. The position emphasizes the importance of teamwork and collaboration with other hotel departments to meet the establishment's goals.
To be successful in this position, candidates need basic verbal and written communication skills. While previous cleaning, janitorial, or customer service experience is a plus, it is not mandatory. The job demands physical stamina, including continuous movement, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying items up to 25 pounds, standing and walking throughout the entire shift, and performing repetitive motions. Availability to work weekends and holidays is also required.
