Founded in 1993 by Bob Faith and headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, Greystar has grown to manage and operate over $350 billion of real estate assets in more than 260 markets around the world. With a substantial presence across North America, Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region, Greystar is recognized as the largest operator of apartments in the United States, managing over one million units and beds globally. The company prides itself on delivering world-class service, maintaining high standards of property management, and fostering environments where residents and communities thrive. Greystar’s comprehensive approach and robust platform offer employees an opportunity to grow within a dynamic and evolving industry.
The part-time Housekeeper role at Greystar’s Riverwalk community in Eugene, Oregon, is a vital position dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance across property common areas, vacant apartment homes, leasing offices, and amenities. The hourly wage for this role ranges from $19.00 to $22.00, with compensation influenced by factors such as business needs, experience, skills, and location. Housekeepers are integral to creating an inviting and welcoming environment that supports the overall appeal and market readiness of the property. This role demands a commitment to quality, attention to detail, and flexibility in scheduling to ensure property standards are consistently met. The Housekeeper ensures that all assigned areas are regularly cleaned, sanitized, and organized, contributing directly to tenant satisfaction and property reputation.
Additional responsibilities include assisting in the make-ready process by supporting service and community managers with extra duties as needed, freshening vacant units throughout the day to sustain market-ready appeal, and maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies. Physical demands are notable in this role, requiring the ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and maneuvering objects weighing up to fifty pounds with assistance. The role may involve working in various weather conditions, offering a dynamic and physically engaging work environment. Greystar values its employees by offering benefits even at part-time status, such as 401(k) with company match eligibility, employee assistance programs, and paid sick time, demonstrating their commitment to workforce well-being and support.
In addition to providing competitive pay and benefits, Greystar is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusiveness. They encourage applications from all qualified candidates regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic. Greystar also emphasizes a secure and professional recruitment process, safeguarding applicants from fraud and ensuring all communications are handled via official company channels. Employing a Housekeeper with Greystar offers a meaningful career opportunity in property management within a reputable and expansive global real estate enterprise, where every role contributes to enhancing resident experiences and property value.
