Casa de las Campanas is currently seeking a Residential Housekeeper to join their dedicated team of passionate professionals. This role is pivotal to maintaining the clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere that defines the community. Offered as an hourly position with a pay range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, the Residential Housekeeper will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and engaging work environment. The role involves adhering to established work schedules and operating within facility and departmental policies to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness across residential units, office spaces, and common areas.

The Residential Housekeeper will be responsible for a variety of cleaning duties including maintaining public areas, handling cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, performing special tasks as assigned by supervisors, and caring for resident beds and carpets. Emphasis is placed on safety, orderliness, and sanitation to create a pristine living environment for all residents. The position also requires vigilance in reporting any unsafe conditions or repair needs, ensuring the facility maintains a safe atmosphere for residents and staff alike.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass background checks including fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references
  • Must comply with vaccination status requirements as applicable
  • Ability to follow facility and departmental policies and procedures
  • Experience using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
  • Physical capability to perform housekeeping duties
  • Ability to respond appropriately in emergencies
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated work ethic
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Cleans scheduled residential units and or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner
  • Maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition
  • Identifies and reports the need for repairs and unsafe conditions and responds appropriately in emergencies
  • Uses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions
  • Performs special tasks as assigned by supervisor and chargeable to residents if applicable
  • Cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis
  • Uses carpet-cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructed
  • Makes and or changes resident beds as scheduled
