Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass background checks including fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references
- Must comply with vaccination status requirements as applicable
- Ability to follow facility and departmental policies and procedures
- Experience using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Physical capability to perform housekeeping duties
- Ability to respond appropriately in emergencies
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated work ethic
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Cleans scheduled residential units and or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner
- Maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition
- Identifies and reports the need for repairs and unsafe conditions and responds appropriately in emergencies
- Uses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions
- Performs special tasks as assigned by supervisor and chargeable to residents if applicable
- Cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis
- Uses carpet-cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructed
- Makes and or changes resident beds as scheduled
