Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, part of the Marriott International portfolio, is a globally recognized brand renowned for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and world-class hospitality. Established as a leading hotel chain, Sheraton has a rich history dating back to 1937 and has grown to create welcoming spaces and memorable stays for guests in more than 400 communities worldwide. With a focus on fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect, Sheraton actively embraces diversity among its associates and values the unique backgrounds, talents, and experiences they bring to the team. Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is proud to offer comprehensive benefits designed to support the wellbeing, career growth, and overall quality of life for its employees and their families. As a part of Marriott International, Sheraton associates benefit from a broad network of resources, opportunities, and a shared mission to be "The World’s Gathering Place." The company is an equal opportunity employer, committed to non-discrimination and ensuring fair access to opportunities regardless of disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics.
The Guest Environment Expert role at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is a full-time, non-management position based in Denver, Colorado, with a pay rate of $22.80 per hour. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the hotel's appearance and cleanliness standards, contributing to the overall guest experience. Unlike traditional housekeeping roles, the Guest Environment Expert is empowered to take initiative and manage their work environment independently, moving freely within the hotel to address the needs of guests and maintain high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, public spaces, and other hotel areas.
Key responsibilities include delivering guest requests promptly, restocking carts, and ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet the company’s quality standards. The role demands physical stamina, as associates will be standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and will regularly move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Beyond these tasks, the Guest Environment Expert is also expected to uphold Marriott International’s professional standards, including adherence to safety policies, confidentiality, and maintaining a professional appearance and communication style.
The position requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, emphasizing the importance of flexibility in scheduling. Sheraton encourages applicants who are team players and passionate about creating meaningful guest experiences to apply. Working at Sheraton offers a unique opportunity to join a global community dedicated to hospitality excellence and to develop your career within one of the world’s most esteemed hotel brands. The company also values a safe work environment and expects all team members to contribute to a positive, secure workplace culture. This role is an excellent fit for those who enjoy helping others, take pride in their work, and are looking to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to sharing memorable experiences with guests.
