We are currently seeking a passionate Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team on a PRN (as-needed) basis with day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, including weekends. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards that are critical in a healthcare setting. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume department, the Housekeeper contributes directly to patient care by ensuring that all areas meet strict hygiene and infection control protocols. The position offers excellent mentorship, comprehensive training, and the support of a dedicated leadership team to help you succeed and grow within the facility. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work PRN days including weekends
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
  • adherence to hospital safety and infection control policies
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to follow detailed instructions
  • strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • clean and sanitize patient rooms and common areas
  • maintain supply inventories and report shortages
  • operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
  • dispose of waste following hospital protocols
  • comply with infection control and safety standards
  • respond promptly to cleaning requests
  • assist with general maintenance tasks
