The organization values integrity, respect, and professionalism, emphasizing a clean and healthy atmosphere as a critical component of effective recovery. The facility is recognized for its inclusive approach to treatment and its encouragement of veterans and military spouses to apply, highlighting a commitment to supporting diverse community members through specialized programming.

The role of Housekeeper - PRN (pro re nata or as-needed) at Northern Path Recovery Center is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the entire facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that every area of the center is kept in a sanitary and orderly condition, thereby directly contributing to client health and comfort. The housekeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in client rooms, offices, bathrooms, laboratories, and common areas. Special attention is given to infection control measures, managing the disposal of infectious waste, and laundering soiled linens in accordance with health standards. This role requires attentiveness to detail and careful handling of cleaning equipment and chemical agents, following safety guidelines and material safety data sheets (MSDS).

The housekeeper ensures proper inventory management of cleaning supplies and linens and performs routine safety checks of cleaning carts and supply closets. Professionalism, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintaining environmental hygiene are essential qualities for success in this role.

Employment is offered on an as-needed basis, enabling flexibility in scheduling while providing an opportunity to join a respected center dedicated to addiction recovery. Although benefits and salary specifics are competitive and commensurate with experience, the work environment fosters growth through training opportunities such as CPR and de-escalation certifications. This position is ideal for individuals with prior housekeeping experience in clinical, healthcare, or commercial settings who possess basic communication skills in English and are attentive to health and safety protocols.
