Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- knowledge of federal, state, and local standards for housekeeping
- ability to perform laundry and cleaning tasks
- physical ability to handle laundry supplies and equipment
- reliability and punctuality
- good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
- experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred
- ability to follow federal, state, and local regulations
- good organizational skills
- able to perform physical tasks related to laundry handling
- attention to detail in cleaning and garment care
Job Duties
- perform the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards
- complete routine laundry assignments in resident living areas
- maintain laundry supplies for daily tasks
- ensure adequate supply of clean linens and perform laundry functions
- collect, sort, and weigh soiled laundry and place in appropriate containers
- sort soiled laundry and separate items requiring special treatment
- press or iron garments as necessary
- fold, count, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry to residents daily
