The role available at HMR Veteran's Services involves the critical support function of the Housekeeping Department. This position is essential to maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents and staff within the facility. The Housekeeping Associate will perform day-to-day housekeeping activities in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines alongside the directions provided by the facility's Administrator, Housekeeping Supervisor, and Director of Environmental Services. The duties focus on routine laundry assignments within resident living areas, ensuring that all linens and garments are clean, properly maintained, and available as needed.

This role requires handling various laundry tasks, including collecting, sorting, weighing, and placing soiled items in the appropriate containers or areas. The Housekeeping Associate will also be responsible for sorting and treating items that require special stain removal, as well as pressing or ironing garments to maintain their quality and appearance. Additional duties include folding, counting, stacking, hanging, and distributing clean laundry to residents daily, ensuring hygiene and comfort are consistently prioritized.
