We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team at Cedar Creek Apartments. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the common areas within the property, ensuring that corridors, foyers, stairwells, vending areas, and other shared spaces meet the highest standards of hygiene and appearance. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces to keep the property looking its best. Additionally, the role involves maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, handling light maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, and assisting residents with directions and information when needed.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a friendly and upbeat individual who pays close attention to detail and takes pride in their work. Excellent communication and customer service skills are critical, as this role often involves interacting with residents and visitors, providing helpful assistance and contributing to a positive community experience. Physical stamina and the ability to lift moderately heavy items up to 70 pounds are required due to the nature of the cleaning and maintenance tasks. Job Requirements
- Good communication and excellent customer service skills
- knowledge of stain removal and chemical cleaning agents
- knowledge of operation of different types of cleaning equipment
- ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time
- lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 70 lbs
- ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor
- attention to detail with at least 1 year of relevant experience
- valid driver's license

Job Duties
- Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers
- clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors
- polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors
- obtain supplies for amenity spaces as needed and care for cleaning equipment
- remove dust, cobwebs, debris, fingerprints, etc. from all common areas (ie. pool side, clubhouse, rec room, breezeways, corridor)
- responsible for changing lightbulbs
- responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times
- arrange and clean behind furniture as needed
- provide guest assistance, directions and information as requested
