Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to operate floor cleaning and maintenance equipment
- strong attention to detail
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- good communication skills
- previous hospital experience preferred but not required

Job Duties
- performs cleaning and maintenance of all floors including carpets, tile, concrete and brick flooring
- performs restoration functions on highly soiled or worn areas
- performs assigned tasks in a professional manner reflecting the integrity of the Environmental Services Department
- operates and maintains all cleaning equipment correctly and safely
- participates in the department's continuous quality improvement activities
